Asparagus and Swede Soup

1 tbsp butter

1 finely chopped white onion

1/2 teaspoon curry powder

1/2 teaspoon grated ginger

1 teaspoon turmeric

200ml chicken broth

1 tin coconut milk

2 branches asparagus

Method

Add butter to saucepan and chopped onion soften for few minutes.

Add spices and mix, then add asparagus with liquid ingredients.

Cook on medium heat to simmer until asparagus soft then use soup mixer to blend.

Serve hot with wholegrain bread.
